Important Updates for June

Hiiiiii everyone!

I am writing to share an important update regarding our pricing. Starting June 1st, we will be increasing the prices of our floral arrangements, bouquets, and delivery services.

We have worked incredibly hard to absorb rising costs over the past year, often cutting deeply into our own profits so we could delay this decision for as long as possible to wait out and see if the prices decrease. However, the cost of cut flowers has risen significantly due to higher import tariffs, shipping fees, and major local crop losses from recent frost and extreme temperature fluctuations. While the DC area is lush with trees and local flowers, it doesn't always produce the specific, high-quality, premium blooms our clients love, requiring us to import flowers both nationally and internationally.

Additionally, we are adjusting our delivery fees to offset rising gas surcharges and to ensure our amazing drivers who bravely face DMV traffic every week to hand-deliver your precious flowers are paid a true livable wage. The delivery radius will be adjusted and the fee will reflect distance based pricing.

I love the community we’ve built in the two years I started this company.
